- Avoid using personal information like name of your loved ones (Like Mother/Father/Spouse/Pets etc.) Nicknames etc. as your password.
- Don't use important dates (Anniversaries, Birthdays, date of Joining for first job etc.) as your password.
- Don't use the same password for more than one Online Account.
- Make use of upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers and special characters like @,%,$,^,&,# etc.
- If the website supports your regional language then try to save your password in your regional language.
- Password length should be minimum 10-12 characters.
- Never share your password or OTP (One Time Password) with anyone.

- Make use of password manager like last pass.
- Use A good Antivirus Software which will keep you safe from Key-loggers and Trojans.

- Check for SSL Certificate and URL of the website which you are accessing before entering your password.
- Make a habit to change your password after 45 or 60 days.
